Cash App
Cash App is king, I love using it especially over Venmo. What I love most about Cash App is that, while the rates may be slightly higher than other methods, it’s the perfect entry level app for purchasing Bitcoin or stocks. Anyone can invest and if you have the extra money to grow, you should (Never more than you would be willing to lose of course).
DuckDuckGo
DuckDuckGo is an internet search engine that focuses on protecting user privacy and avoiding personalized search results. DuckDuckGo distinguishes itself from other search engines by not profiling its users and by showing all users the same search results for a given search term. Take back some of your privacy today and start using DuckDuckGo.
Credit Karma
Credit Karma is great, you may have already heard of them. They let you check your credit score AND file your state and federal taxes for FREE. They get their money from credit card offers on their website and have had pretty good deals on those. (Pro tip: DON’T GO INTO DEBT WITHOUT THINKING)
Duolingo
I love productivity apps, when I’m in the swing of learning a language I can whip out my phone and crank out a few lessons for as long as I’m able. It’s never about how much you do, it’s about being consistent and Duolingo allows you to do that.
Yousician
Hands down the best guitar (they have since added piano, uke, bass, and singing) teaching app I have ever had. The price is very steep but it’s very worth it in my opinion. I learned leaps and bounds from this thing. If you get it, just remember to practice!
Signal
Privacy is important folks. In this day and age you pretty much have none of it. Signal is an end-to-end encrypted messaging service that keeps your texts the way they should be PRIVATE. What I love most about the app is its ability to have custom self destructing messages for each conversation.
Sleep Cycle
I always had the hardest time waking up in the morning, that is until I discovered this app. It monitors your sleep and pulls you out of your sleep cycle very gently. Not only that but it can pair up with my Phillips Hue Bulbs to simulate a sunrise or just turn on all my lights forcing me awake. Not only does it do all that but the data it collects when you sleep is interesting and you can add things that you did throughout your day to see if it has any effect on your sleep. They probably do collect your data (I have not checked to see if or how), but I feel it’s worth it so humanity can know more about what we’re doing for basically one-third of our life.
